

Liz O’Keefe
Professional chef and trained journalist Liz O’Keefe is the current home economist on LandScape magazine, developing and writing British seasonal recipes for each issue.
Read moreAs well as a recipe writer, Liz is a food stylist and holds a monthly supper club in South East London. She has written for and/or food styled for Harrods magazine, Woman’s Weekly, LoveFood.com, Olive magazine, Guardian’s Feast magazine, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Boots, Herbalife and Unilever, to name a few.
Her first cookery book, The Great British Pepper Cookbook, was published in November 2014 (Libri Publishing), and was followed by the Gourmand award-winning The Mushroom Cookbook, which was published by Lorenz Books in autumn 2017. Most recently, she wrote the identification guide, Mushrooms: A Guide to fungi and toadstools for Amber Books Ltd in 2024.
A respected voice in the UK food scene, Liz regularly judges for the Guild of Fine Foods’ Great Taste Awards, The Bread Awards and The Quality Food Awards and is a proud member of The Guild of Food Writers. Her journalistic experience lies in the food and farming industry, with a focus on fresh produce, and as a cookery editor for consumer magazines, as well as restaurant critiquing and writing.
